The award recognizes youth, teachers and volunteers who have worked to preserve the history of their community AND who have extended the impact of their work by sharing it with others.

All youth participants who submit a video project that meets our requirements are eligible to receive this award (whether or not they used Stories of Service materials to create this project).  In addition, they are eligible for other recognition opportunities.

Community Historian Awards for 2008-2009 will be mailed out starting in January 2009.
